This board was built in support of a project using the Wavecom "Intelligent" GSM Modem, where the I²C interface facilities were to be used to add extra input and output functions. It allowed firmware development to proceed whilst awaiting the initial manufactured units.
External inputs are simulated with switches, and outputs are simulated with LEDs.
