This paper shows how to download programs to the E5 without switching to the Triscend FDL utility. It describes how to integrate the CSoC utility into the µVision Run Menu and download programs without ever leaving the programming environment. This began as an internal document, and has since been published by Keil as their Application Note 159. |

Re-playing Wavecom Backtrace Files This paper shows how to use the Wavecom Serial Link Manager and Target Monitoring Tool to replay the error "Backtrace" files produced by the Open-AT operating system (v3.12).The "Backtrace" consists of a call stack "footprint" saved by Open-AT in the event of a fatal error in the operating system or user application - replaying this information allows the cause of the crash to be diagnosed. Note that these tools have now been superseded by the Sierra Wireless Developer Studio. |

Current Consumption Measurements for a Wavecom Fastrack Modem Wavecom's User Guide for the Fastrack modem suggests that its power supply current consumption has a very high "peak-to-mean" ratio, but doesn't give much detail. This paper presents oscilloscope traces of the current waveforms of an actual Fastrack modem at various supply voltages. This could be of interest if you are specifying a power supply for use with a Fastrack modem. |
